Q: What are some of the coolest things about your job as a Salesforce Solutions Architect, and what do you enjoy doing?
A: Being a Salesforce Solution Architect provides a creative outlet to apply technical knowledge and skills to problem-solving challenges. I get opportunities to provide a meaningful impact on a customer’s success. It provides an avenue to explore not just features of the Salesforce platform, but how to combine those and interact with other applications to build a full solution.
Q: Generally, how does your average workday tend to look?
A: My day-to-day activities entail a review of user stories to apply a design and solution to solve the issue.
I run daily scrums and work with Developers and Admins to review code or configuration and offer advice or suggestions. I consider any new technologies or potential integration requests to our solution and try to identify benefits, risks, and pitfalls.
Q: What do you think about the job in general?
A: Working as a solutions architect has allowed me to take many years of different technical experiences and disciplines and apply them in a meaningful and focused way to achieve a good solution.
