CoreSphere Walks the Charitable Walk

As the chilly weather approaches and the tree leaves begin to fall, CoreSphere is kicking off its community service with two charitable walks! CoreSphere and its employees will be participating in Luke’s Wings ‘Heroes Walk to Fly’ and the American Heart Association’s ‘Heart Walk’.

CoreSphere is using two methods of charity work this holiday season. First, our employees are encouraged to participate in community charity events. Second, our operations team will set up a digital donation page for employees who wish to make online donations beginning November 11th through December 31st.

Luke's Wings’ mission is to provide complimentary airfare to wounded, ill, and injured service members and their loved ones during recovery and rehabilitation. The walk encourages supporters and beneficiaries to celebrate injured service members while supporting local businesses in the Bethesda community. This community event will begin and end at the Bethesda Chevy-Chase Rescue Squad on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at 10 a.m. Join our CoreSphere team or make an online donation. Visit the website for more information.

To register for the September 29 Luke’s Wings ‘Heroes Walk to Fly’ - Visit https://give.lukeswings.org/event/lukes-wings-heroes-walk-to-fly/e243713 and click REGISTER. Then click on ‘Join a Team’ and you will see the ‘CoreSphere’ team.

CoreSphere believes in fostering employees’ professional and personal growth through certification, engagement, and education. Not only do we encourage our employees to practice wellness in the workplace, but we also encourage them to participate in giving back to our community. That’s why we have also decided to walk in the American Heart Association’s ‘Heart Walk’.

Heart Walk’s mission is to "build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.” The walk helps support pediatric heart and stroke research, improve treatments for, and provide information to help prevent cardiovascular disease. Join the many walkers in the DC metropolitan area to support this cause. This community event will begin and end at the National Mall on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. Join the CoreSphere team or make an online donation. Visit the website for more information.

To register for the November 2 American Heart Association’s ‘Heart Walk’ – Visit http://www2.heart.org/goto/CoreSphere and click ‘Join this team’ and follow the prompts. There is no fee to register, but please consider a monetary donation.

Charitable giving is one way that many people elect to support a specific cause or organization that is close to their heart. CoreSphere would like to thank you, in advance, for your generosity to volunteer your time and finances to support these various charities that mean a lot to us. The CoreSphere team looks forward to seeing you at these events!
