CoreSphere Cares and joins Pledge 1% Movement

CoreSphere fundraises for Team Mathias' efforts to support child cancer research

BETHESDA, February 5, 2021 — CoreSphere announced today that it has joined Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we have committed to giving back to our community, no matter the circumstances.

In honor of Black History Month and CoreSphere’s commitment to corporate giving, CoreSphere is kicking off the new year with a fundraiser for Team Mathias until February 28. We are empowering our local workforce to fundraise virtually to help raise awareness of all childhood cancers. The funds raised will be used directly to find better cancer pediatric treatments and support the families during treatment.

"Cancer may have prevented Mathias from having a normal childhood, but it did not change who he was as a person and it most certainly did not define him,” said Roya Giordano, Mathias’ mother and Co-founder of Team Mathias. “Team Mathias is guided by what was important to Mathias and his ideas continue to shape the work we do today [for better cancer treatment options of all childhood cancers].”

Each year, CoreSphere finds organizations and nonprofits that we believe have achieved and are striving to help and prosper people in their community and around the world. This opportunity will kick off a greater focus in 2021 on expanding corporate philanthropy, encouraging volunteerism, and supporting diverse and inclusive efforts towards equality.

“CoreSphere’s values and morals focus on informing people and inspiring action toward solutions for a variety of nonprofit organizations locally and globally,” said Shailesh Gupta, Managing Partner of CoreSphere. “We believe that fundraising and volunteering for various charitable organizations in our area, and globally, is one of the greatest ways to support humanity. It’s a win-win for our employees and these charities to positively engage and support one another.”

CoreSphere is proud to join the Pledge 1% community and encourages other companies to take the pledge and leverage their business as a force for good. For more information about our 1% pledge and CoreSphere’s commitment to corporate philanthropy, please email us at marketing@coresphere.com.
